run up to degree show

For my degree show I am going to be showing a range of homeware, kitchen and table linen. I am producing items such as aprons, tea towels, place mats, napkins and cushions using multihead machine embroidery based on drawings of birds observed within my garden. Here is a small selection of what I am currently producing.

Stitch drawings.

These two pieces are linear representations of my original drawings, they have been stitched out on the Multi head. I decided to try stitching out on both light and dark backgrounds, and I actually like both outcomes! I may stitch into the darker wool sample and add beading.

Three little birds.

More drawings, birds this time. I feel that my drawing has really developed over the past few weeks, my plans are to translate these drawings into stitch, but to simplify the design.
